Defence ministers of Belarus and Russia discussed preparation for Union Shield 2023

Belarus’ Defence Minister, Lieutenant General Viktor Khrenin, has met with Russia’s Defence Minister, Army General Sergei Shoigu, in Moscow today – as informed by the Belarusian Defence Ministry’s Telegram channel

The sides discussed the military-political situation, issues of patriotic education of young people and defence technology liaisons. Special attention was paid to preparations for the Belarusian-Russian Shchit Soyuza (Union Shield) 2023 operational exercise.
