Czech Republic said it is ready to help Ukraine organise elections in 2024
Czech Foreign Ministry’s spokesperson Daniel Drake said that the Czech Republic is ready to help Ukraine hold parliamentary and presidential elections in 2024, TASS reports
Daniel Drake said, “The organisation of elections in the conditions of the military conflict between Russia and Ukraine is regulated by the legislation of Ukraine, and, despite the complexity, we believe that they can be organised next year. The Czech Republic is ready to support Ukraine in this issue, but the exact form of this assistance can be discussed only on the basis of a specific request from the Ukrainian side.”
It is also reported that Czech Interior Minister Vít Rakušan also confirmed the country’s readiness to provide assistance to Ukraine. The requirements that the Ukrainian side will put forward will determine the specifics of the Czech aid.
