Counter-sniper unit equipped with ultra-long-range Lobaev rifles being formed in Crimea
In Crimea, a counter-sniper unit is being created, and it will work as ‘a fire brigade’ during the special military operation, Crimea 24 TV channel informs
A division is being formed on the basis of the 165th training centre on the initiative of the Crimean Head Aksenov and with participation of famous gunsmith Vladislav Lobaev.
“This will enable the units – which for some reason have not been equipped with high-precision modern sniper weapons or could not organise training, or lacked time for that – to receive the so-called counter-sniper services,” Mr. Lobaev explained, adding that the division will perform tasks in the hottest areas of the front, where the activity of enemy snipers is very high.
The Lobaev Arms CEO clarified that the division will be armed with a full range of sniper rifles that his company produces.
Ultra-long-range and high-precision Lobaev rifles are extremely in demand in the special military operation zone. They make it possible to deal much damage to the enemy. The most effective sniper, nicknamed Yary, who has eliminated more than 100 Ukrainian soldiers, uses a SVLK-14S Twilight rifle.
