The Mayor of Minsk said that the Head of State was informed of the proposals that had been developed by the working group on the construction of a museum and park ensemble consisting of the National Historical Museum and the National Unity Park. The concept was developed with the participation of students of the Minsk State College of Architecture and Civil Engineering. According to Vladimir Kukharev, the President supported the presented approaches.

“We have done everything to ensure that the museum really meets the most modern standards. To do this, our experts visited museums in China, Azerbaijan, and Kazakhstan. Today we can make a solid museum – one of the best in the world – because we have a very rich history. We plan to start designing the museum in the very near future, so that its construction can begin early next year. This will be done by the design and construction organisations of Minsk. We plan to complete works in 2026. The reconstruction of the park will also be conducted, which will complement the museum with the necessary attributes,” the Minsk Mayor added.

As reported, the National Historical Museum will be located in Minsk’s Tsentralny District, on the site between Pobediteley Avenue, Orlovskaya Street and the River Svisloch. Previously, the Dreamland Park was located on this territory.
