Congressman: US aid to Ukraine may lead to bankruptcy of future generations of Americans
The provision of assistance by the United States to Ukraine may have serious financial consequences for future generations – as stated by a representative of Arizona's 2nd Congressional District in the US Congress, Eli Crane, TASS reports with reference to the Fox News channel
“We are financing another eternal war that will lead to the bankruptcy of future generations. At the same time, we ignore our own security, since our southern border remains open," Crane believes.
The politician also called it ‘absurd’ that the United States is discussing the possibility of tax increases to help Ukraine. “We must remove this issue from the agenda and replace it with the desire for peaceful negotiations,” he said.
On April 1st, a member of the House of Representatives of the American Congress, Marjorie Taylor Greene, noted that the Speaker of the House of Representatives of the US Congress, Mike Johnson, wanted to speed up the procedure for considering a bill on allocating funds to Ukraine as further American assistance. She said Mr. Johnson ‘planned to allocate another $60bn’ to continue the Ukrainian conflict and ‘go against the will of 70 percent of Americans’.
