Command and staff exercise in full swing
A command and staff exercise with participation of the 120th Guards Separate Mechanised Brigade continues until October 14th at the Obuz-Lesnovsky training ground – as reported by the Belarusian Defence Ministry’s Telegram channel
The source informs that the exercise aims to check the readiness of command, military units and subdivisions of the brigade to perform tasks for their intended purpose, and also to improve the commanders’ practical skills in organising a defensive battle.
The exercise has two stages. Yesterday, command and military units of the brigade trained a defensive battle and interaction in the interests of solving the tasks set.
About 900 servicemen, 28 tanks, 35 armoured combat vehicles and 15 multiple rocket launchers are involved.
The exercise is led by the Commander of the North-Western Operational Command of the Armed Forces, Major General Aleksandr Naumenko.
