Civil pilots trained in Belarus
Flight training specialty available at the Belarusian State Academy of Aviation
This year, first students have been enrolled and, in four years, they will become commercial pilots – trained at a high level in accordance with all international standards. Work continues to master new flight specialties: civil aviation navigator, radio operator, and flight engineer. Appropriate training procedures are being developed. In turn, undergraduate students will be able to pass retraining. Construction of a new training centre equipped with modern simulators to prepare flight specialists is also planned.
Artem Shegidevich, the Rector of the Belarusian State Academy of Aviation, comments, “Aviation gives impetus to development of most sectors of the economy. With this in view, it was important to create a national scientific school to train qualified personnel. This has been done. The year 2021 will go down in the history of Belarusian aviation since we can assert that all flight specialists are now being trained in Belarus.”
