China to simplify visa procedures for foreigners
The Chinese authorities have decided to continue simplifying the procedures for issuing visas to foreigners who come to China to work, study or to reunite with their families, RIA Novosti reports
There is no information about inbound tourism yet, but it is noted that China will continue to gradually restore outbound tourism for Chinese citizens.
On December 26th, the Health Affairs Committee of the People's Republic of China posted a notice on its official website stating that, from January 8th, 2023, persons arriving in China will have to take a PCR test for COVID-19 48 hours before departure, persons with a negative PCR test result will be able to come to China without a code health, while PCR testing and centralised isolation for all those entering the country will be cancelled.
