China to conduct up to 300 space launches per year by 2035
The People’s Republic of China intends to conduct from 200 to 300 space launches per year by 2035 – according to the report, entitled The Decisive Battle: The Progress of China’s Comprehensively Deepening Reform and High-Standard Opening-Up in the New Era and Prospects for 2029 and 2035, prepared by the Chongyang Institute for Financial Studies at the People's University of China, TASS reports
“By 2035, China will conduct 200-300 space launches per year; in addition, other countries may have the opportunity to jointly develop lunar infrastructure with China, making a greater contribution to the long-term development and security of human civilisation,” the report reads.
It is also predicted that by the specified date, China will increase the production of large aircraft to 500 units per year.
