China's military to carry out live-fire drills on border with Myanmar
The Armed Forces of the People's Republic of China are organising comprehensive live-fire exercises on the border with Myanmar – as stated by the Southern Theatre Command of the People's Liberation Army of China on its WeChat account, TASS reports
It is known that the military exercises will begin on April 2nd at 8am Beijing time (3am Minsk time) and end on April 3rd at 18pm (13pm Minsk time). In this regard, the People's Liberation Army of China is tightening control measures against vehicles and individuals.
It is also reported that the military exercises will be carried out in five different locations within Yingjiang and Luanchuan counties. Unauthorised entry to the area will be prohibited. Moreover, no aircraft will be allowed to fly through the airspace. In addition, private filming of these manoeuvres and the publication of any information related to them in the media are prohibited.
