Bundestag: Germany needs ‘peace instead of NATO’
The allocation of huge sums by German authorities to support Kiev is a policy that is directed against the majority of residents of Germany, while the country needs ‘peace instead of NATO’ – as stated by Sevim Dagdelen, a member of the Bundestag from the Sahra Wagenknecht Alliance Reason and Justice, TASS reports
Sevim Dagdelen recalled that the share price of the German arms concern Rheinmetall, which is involved in arms supplies to Ukraine, has increased fivefold against the background of multibillion-Dollar contracts. At the same time, the German leadership – by allocating more money for Kiev – is discussing budget cuts for education, healthcare and civil infrastructure construction. The German politician added that the Sahra Wagenknecht Alliance Reason and Justice considers such a policy of Berlin irresponsible and directed against its own citizens.
"We need peace instead of NATO," she concluded.
