BSTU signed co-operation memorandum with Zhejiang Shuren University
The Belarusian State Technological University (BSTU) and the Chinese Zhejiang Shuren University signed a memorandum on co-operation on November 25th, BSTU press service reported
“On Monday, November 25th, Belarusian State Technological University Rector Igor Voitov met the mission from the Zhejiang Shuren University led by President Li Lu. Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Andrey Gavrilyuk, Head of International Relations Office Olga Rogova, and Head of Double-Degree Programmes and International Students Office Yelena Yanukovich were also present at the meeting. The parties exchanged information on education and research programmes at their universities, demonstrated presentations and videos, and shared opinions on co-operation issues, including master and post-graduate education for Chinese nationals at the BSTU,” the press service elaborated.
According to the university’s media representatives, in the course of the discussions, the Chinese side showed interest in five education programmes: landscape design, material sciences, environmental engineering, biotechnologies and artificial intelligence. President Li Lu also invited the Belarusian side to visit the Zhejiang Shuren University reciprocally in 2025, to reach agreement on teachers’ experience sharing and joint research. After the parties resolved to develop an interaction roadmap, Messrs Voitov and Li signed a memorandum on co-operation in education which envisions academic exchanges for both teachers and students, as well as joint research projects.
