Brylo: Belarus increased agricultural exports to Russia and China
This year, our country has increased the export of agricultural products to Russia and China – as noted by Belarus’ Agriculture and Food Igor Minister Brylo in his talk with ONT TV channel
Answering the question about how things are with food in Belarus, he noted that we produce more food than we consume. “Almost 60 percent of everything produced is exported,” the head of the agricultural; department said.
“We are expanding our supplies to Russia and China. In four months, we have achieved almost 115 percent growth in exports compared to last year. We are increasing exports both in physical and in monetary terms,” added Igor Brylo.
Speaking about the Belagro 2023 expo, the Head of the Agriculture and Food Ministry stated that the number of participants had grown compared to the previous year. “The exhibition is gaining momentum on a large scale. The exhibition areas have increased this year, the second floor is used, the number of equipment has increased. Fourteen Russian regions presented separate stands. We conduct detailed negotiations almost daily,” the Minister said.
