Borovik: national unity enables nation to become competitive and successful in international arena

Belarusians aim to create in this world and be a donor of international stability – as stated by political scientist Vadim Borovik on the occasion of National Unity Day in his talk with Alfa Radio

The expert believes that unity is most important for every nation.

“The national unity of Belarusians is, primarily, the identification of their destiny with the Fatherland. After all, when we understand that this is our land, where we will all live, create and build together, we are more responsible in fulfilling our work duties, raising children and building our own homes. National unity enables a nation to become competitive and successful in the international arena. Time shows that Belarusians are able to unite and take responsibility for their destiny in crucial periods of history,” noted Vadim Borovik.

According to the political scientist, a big role in this is played by the national leader and the enormous potential that Belarus boasts.

“This is a developed economy, an educated population... There is an understanding of the path we are taking, there is a desire to create in this world and be a donor of international stability. I’m confident that a worthy future awaits us. Everything is in our hands, in the hands of the united nation of Belarusians,” underlined Vadim Borovik.

Our country is celebrating a new national holiday – September 17th, National Unity Day – for the third time. This holiday was established in Belarus in 2021, with the corresponding Decree No. 206 signed by President Aleksandr Lukashenko on June 7th.
