Belkoopsoyuz exports up by 18.3% in nine months of 2024
The Management Board of the Belarusian Republican Union of Consumer Societies (Belkoopsoyuz) has considered the results of its financial and economic activities for nine months of this year, sb.by reports with reference to the Belkoopsoyuz’s press service
Such key issues as the implementation of the programme for the development of consumer co-operative societies for 2024-2025 and the fulfilment of the Head of State’s instructions were discussed during the meeting.
“According to the results of the first nine months, the total volume of activity made up Br2.5bn. The procurement turnover grew by 7.4 percent, industrial production increased by 8.8 percent, and exports jumped by 18.3 percent,” the press service reported.
It is also noted that priority attention is given to the trade sector. Thus, during the reporting period, nine stores were opened, twenty-seven previously closed stores were reopened.
“Belkoopsoyuz has taken additional measures to stabilise the situation for the successful completion of the year. A lot has been done in the current period, but it is not enough. As for the planned activities, all managers are personally responsible for their implementation,” Chairperson of Belkoopsoyuz Management Board Inessa Korotkevich said.
