BelCCI Chairman taking part in BRICS Business Forum
Chairman of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BelCCI) Mikhail Myatlikov is taking part in the annual meeting of the BRICS Business Council and BRICS Business Forum in Moscow at the invitation of President of Russia’s Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Chairman of the BRICS Business Council Sergei Katyrin, sb.by reports with a link to the BElCCI press service
“The events are being held on October 17th-18th at the International Trade Centre in Moscow, attended by the heads of the BRICS Business Council working groups and chairs of the national parts. All of them summarise the results of the BRICS Business Council’s work in 2024 and discuss strengthening co-operation for sustainable development of the economy and international trade. This is the first time that Belarus’ representatives are taking part in the BRICS Business Council. As part of the event, BelCCI Chairman Mikhail Myatlikov held a number of meetings with the heads of the national parts of the BRICS member states.
“The meeting with Secretary General of the Federation of Egyptian Chambers of Commerce (FEDCOC) Alaa Ezz tackled in detail the issues of bilateral agenda. In furtherance of the agreements reached during Belarusian PM’s visit to Egypt in April 2024, they agreed to exchange business missions to deepen Belarusian-Egyptian business co-operation,” the press service said.
Mikhail Myatlikov also met with the representative of the Chinese part in the BRICS Business Council, Lu Jun, Chairman of COFCO Corporation, to familiarise himself with China's experience in the BRICS Business Council and to identify opportunities for using the Business Council platform to promote trade-economic liaisons between Belarus and China.
