BELAZ and Santa joined top-50 foreign companies in Russia
BELAZ and Santa are on the list of the 50 largest foreign companies in Russia, according to the Forbes rating
The manufacturer of Belarusian heavy-duty dump trucks is represented in this rating by its subsidiary company BELAZ Trading House, which is ranked 38th with revenue of 65.9bn Russian Roubles ($961.4m) last year. Over the year, BELAZ increased its revenue in Russia by 25 percent.
Santa Group is placed 39th with revenues of 65.4 billion Russian Roubles ($954.1m). The estimate includes the revenue of the Savushkin Product and Russkoye More (Russian Sea) companies. Over the year, the group’s financial performance improved by almost a third (plus 30.6 percent), thanks to which Santa earns almost as much on the Russian market as BELAZ.
Next to these companies in the ranking are Geely Motors / Geely, positioned 37th with revenue of 66.6 billion Russian Roubles ($971.6m), and Sanofi Russia is in 40th place with revenue of 63.8 billion Russian Roubles ($930.7m).
The leaders in the Forbes ranking of the top-50 largest foreign companies in the Russian Federation by revenue are Leroy Merlin ($7.7bn), JT Group ($6.3bn), and Philip Morris International ($5.8bn).
