Belarusians celebrating Bright Resurrection of Christ

Orthodox Belarusians are celebrating today the main date of the Orthodox calendar: the bright Easter holiday. It binds people with true Christian values, fills the heart of every believer with great joy and spiritual balance. This holiday symbolises the transition from the death to the resurrection of Jesus Christ. On Easter, parishioners visit churches with their families all over the country, and in this way Belarusians express respect for the traditions of their ancestors. For more than one generation, the basics of spirituality have been passed on to young Belarusians, thereby demonstrating the unity of the people, where everyone feels like a part of the great and common.
