Belarusians captured 16 medals at Youth Sambo Championship

Belarusian sportsmen won sixteen medals at the Youth Sambo Championship in Cyprus, sb.by reports with reference to the press service of the Ministry of Sports and Tourism

The World Cadet, Youth and Junior Sambo Championships ended in Larnaca, Cyprus. On the final day, Belarusian athletes won four awards.

"Krystsina Yausiuk (65kg), Ihar Mirayeuski (64kg) and Arseni Malitski (98+ kg) captured silver, while Palina Burachkova (54kg) won bronze," the source said.

According to the results of the tournament, Belarus’ representatives boast one gold, six silver and nine bronze medals.
