Belarusian taekwondo athlete Gurtsiev won Olympic licence

The European Qualification Tournament for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, where 16 licences were awarded, ended in Sofia. The Belarusian taekwondo athlete, Georgii Gurtsiev, who performs in the under 58kg weight category, gained one of them, sb.by reports with reference to the National Olympic Committee of Belarus.

Having won a number of bright victories, he took first place and, accordingly, received an Olympic licence.

Another athlete from the Belarusian national team, Artsiom Plonis, who performs in the under 80kg weight category, was also close to this, but at the end he stopped just one step away from the goal, taking third place.
