Belarusian parliamentarians help Ukrainians

Deputies of the House of Representatives at the National Assembly of Belarus visited a sanatorium in the border area of the Gomel Region, where most Ukrainian people – seeking temporary asylum – are accommodated

The parliamentarians talked to the families who arrived immediately after the outbreak of hostilities and those who saved themselves and their children in the last days, when there was no strength left to wait for peace, and explosions were already destroying the houses of their neighbours. The guests did not come empty-handed, preparing sweet gifts for children. Moreover, Br10,000 – collected by deputies – was transferred to the account of the regional organisation of the Belarus Red Cross, with a corresponding certificate being handed over during the visit.
