Belarusian military mastering Polonez and Uragan MLRS systems

Servicemen of the Belarusian Armed Forces are getting acquainted with the operation of the Uragan multiple launch rocket system and the newest V-200BM Polonez MLRS, the Defence Ministry reports in its Telegram channel

“Training in the combat use of the Polonez MLRS is a priority task,” the source said.

Polonez systems will be put into service in the 231st artillery brigade in the near future.

During the training, jet pilots master the tactical and technical characteristics of the MLRS, learn the rules of shooting, the basics of control and targeting.

Comprehensive training will be organised for military personnel – for them ‘to work out missile strikes in co-operation with unmanned Supercam-S350 and Supercam-S100 aircraft complexes’.

Exercises are held both individually and as part of military formations.
