Belarusian Language and Culture Centre launched at Azerbaijan University of Languages
The Belarusian language is spreading far beyond the republic’s borders: Minsk State Linguistic University has opened the Belarusian Language and Culture Centre at the Azerbaijan University of Languages
MSLU Rector Natalia Lapteva stressed, “The opening of a piece of Belarus on the territory of the Azerbaijani University, where many foreign languages are studied, is an important step in the development of relations between the two countries and the two educational establishments. Taking this step in Baku, we sincerely believe that the study of the Belarusian language and culture will be included into the Azerbaijan University of Languages curriculum.”
Ms. Lapteva added that the new centre creates the foundation for new scientific and cultural ties and new projects.
