Belarusian enterprises present their goods at Rebuild Syria expo
Companies from Belarus are taking part in the 8th International Trade Exhibition Rebuild Syria, which opened on September 27th in Damascus. Our country is represented by Minsk Dairy Plant No. 1, Energokomplekt enterprise and Minsk Automobile Works (MAZ) – as reported by Belinterexpo’s press service.
Belarusian enterprises present their products and services, while also taking part in the business programme. Our country traditionally participates in this event, presenting its exposition there.
The organiser of the Belarusian companies’ participation in the Rebuild Syria was the Belinterexpo exhibition enterprise of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
On the first day of the expo, the Belarusian stand was visited by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to Syria Yuri Sluka and Syrian Minister of Public Works and Housing Suhail Abdul Latif, as well as representatives of Syrian organisations and heads of Syrian companies. The honoured guests highly appreciated the Belarusian products and services presented at the trade fair.
“On the eve of the exhibition’s opening, a meeting of the Belarusian delegation with Chairman of the Rural Damascus Chamber of Commerce and Industry Osama Mustafa was held at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Damascus Province. During the event, issues of co-operation were discussed, and the high quality of Belarusian goods and good potential for promotion in the Syrian market were noted,” Belinterexpo said.
The Made in Belarus exposition within the framework of the 8th international exhibition Rebuild Syria will continue to operate until October 1st.
