Belarusian enterprises able to increase presence in Indonesian market

Negotiations are currently underway on the creation of a free trade zone between the Eurasian Economic Union and Indonesia – as informed by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Indonesia, Roman Romanovsky

The diplomat noted that Belarus and Indonesia have traditionally enjoyed friendly and warm relations. The parties are developing liaisons in politics, trade, and the humanitarian sphere.

Speaking about the negotiations between the EAEU and Indonesia, Mr. Romanovsky noted, “Both sides are interested in completing this process as soon as possible, and this is a serious factor that allows us to count on further expansion and deepening of co-operation – primarily in the trade and economic sphere. It is important for the heads of Belarusian enterprises to understand even before the completion of this process that everyone will be able to take advantage of its fruits and increase the presence of Belarus in the Indonesian market.”
