Belarusian Embassy in Hanoi hosted children's drawing contest dedicated to Mother's Day
The Belarusian Embassy in Hanoi (Vietnam) hosted a children's drawing contest – I Love Belarus, I Love Vietnam, I Love My Mother – dedicated to Mother's Day, sb.by reports with reference to Belarus’ Foreign Ministry
The event gathered 4-8-year-old children of the Embassy staff, the Belarusian diaspora in Hanoi, Vietnamese friends and partners.
The main purpose of the contest was to inspire interest in studying the history, culture, and traditions of the two countries, establishing contacts and ties that may develop into strong friendship and mutually beneficial co-operation in the future.
All children were given presents, and photos were taken. A delightful candy buffet was created for boys and girls.
The drawing contest was organised within the framework of the Belarusian School in Hanoi project, which provides for thematic classes, forums, lectures, film screenings and other events for Belarusian and Vietnamese children in order to deepen knowledge about Belarus, generate interest in learning Russian and Belarusian languages, and strengthen Belarusian-Vietnamese relations.
