Belarusian delegation on working visit to Nicaragua
The Belarusian delegation headed by the Deputy Head of the Belarus President Administration, Aleksandr Yegorov, is on a working visit to Nicaragua, BelTA reports
“It is a great honour for us to visit Nicaragua. The task of this visit is to implement the agreements reached between the heads of our states,” Aleksandr Yegorov stated.
Mr. Yegorov met with the Adviser to the President of Nicaragua for Investment, Trade and International Co-operation, Laureano Facundo Ortega Murillo, and Vice President Rosario Murillo. The Adviser to the President of Nicaragua reiterated the country's commitment to expanding co-operation with Belarus. According to him, the visit is aimed at strengthening co-operation and fraternity between the two countries, as well as the development of equipment supply programmes for Nicaragua.
As the Chairman of the Board of the Development Bank of Belarus, Sergei Stolyarchuk, stated earlier, it is planned to sign contracts worth more than $40m with Nicaragua in 2024.
