Belarusian condensed milk heading to China
A delegation from Heilongjiang Province visited the Rogachev Milk Canning Plant, and the sides discussed prospects for mutually beneficial Belarusian-Chinese co-operation
The visit was organised following the results of recent negotiations in China with the participation of the Belarusian company’s head, Vladimir Lutsky. The Chinese got acquainted with the process of canned milk production, also visiting the workshops specialising in cheese making and production of packaging.
Mr. Lutsky commented on the results of the meeting, “We discussed the supply of whole condensed milk, as well as the development of co-operation on bakery products. The Rogachev facility already exports dry milk products to China, and the delivery of condensed milk to the Heilongjiang Province is planned by the end of 2024. A label has been developed for Chinese retail chains, and our future plans include the certification of our bakery facilities and exports of their products to China.”
The Rogachev Milk Canning Plant is one of the largest producers of canned milk, whole milk products, cheeses, butter, dry and dairy products and baby food in the CIS. About 100 types of its products enjoy demand in Belarus and abroad.
