Belarus, Zimbabwe to continue co-operation in agriculture

"The parties discussed issues of bilateral co-operation, including the inspection of Belarusian enterprises currently underway in order to certify the supply of Belarusian dairy products to the Zimbabwean market. The Zimbabwean side appreciated a high technological level of Belarusian enterprises," the source said.

It is reported that the Belarusian and Zimbabwean sides welcomed the prompt initialling of the veterinary certificate for dairy products intended for supply to Zimbabwe in March of this year and agreed to continue work on the harmonisation of veterinary certificates for other types of products.

In addition, the parties confirmed their readiness to implement the roadmap for the development of co-operation between Belarus and Zimbabwe in the field of agriculture.
