Belarus, Zimbabwe discussed implementation of joint projects
Belarus’ Foreign Minister Sergei Aleinik has met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Zimbabwe to the Republic of Belarus, Ignatius Graham Mudzimba, to discuss current issues of Belarusian-Zimbabwean interaction in the political, economic and humanitarian spheres, sb.by reports with reference to the Belarusian Foreign Ministry’s press service
Particular attention was paid to the implementation of agreements reached during the visit of the President of the Republic of Belarus, Aleksandr Lukashenko, to Zimbabwe in January 2023, as well as following the results of the first meeting of the joint standing commission on co-operation between Belarus and Zimbabwe in February 2024.
“The parties have agreed to conduct an interim review in the near future of the implementation of bilateral projects in agriculture and food production, alongside education, healthcare, and industrial co-operation. This work will be carried out by a joint commission with the participation of representatives of relevant ministries and organisations,” the Foreign Ministry added.
It is noted that Sergei Aleinik has congratulated the Ambassador on the 44th anniversary of Zimbabwe’s independence.
