Belarus to send humanitarian aid to Zimbabwe
Belarus will provide humanitarian assistance to Zimbabwe – as envisaged by resolution No. 360 of the Council of Ministers as of May 22nd, 2024, which is published on the National Legal Internet Portal, sb.by reports
The Emergencies Ministry, the Healthcare Ministry, the Industry Ministry, the Agriculture and Food Ministry and the Belarusian State Concern for Production and Sale of Light Industry Goods have been instructed to collect and register the aid for its further shipment to Zimbabwe.
There are about 60 items on the humanitarian aid list, including canned meat, medicines, household soap, bedspreads, blankets, children's coats, jackets, half-boots, and more.
The Emergencies Ministry has been instructed to ensure the organisation of the delivery of humanitarian aid to Zimbabwe.
The resolution shall enter into force from the date of its adoption.
