Belarus to host 70+ international sports events in 2023
The Government has approved a list of international sports events to be held in Belarus next year – as envisaged by Resolution No. 921 of the Council of Ministers as of December 27th, 2022, the National Legal Internet Portal reports
In 2023, at least seventy international sports events will take place in Belarus.
In particular, the list includes Palova Snowball 3x3; 52nd edition of the international freestyle wrestling tournament for the prizes of three-time Olympic champion, seven-time world champion in freestyle wrestling Aleksandr Medved (men, women); international competitions in cycling on the Grand Prix of Minsk track; Minsk international half marathon; ITF international taekwondo tournament CIS Open Cup – World Cup; World Selects Invitational AAA Boys (2023 World Hockey Group AAA Boys); and Minsk-2023 international chess tournament.
The resolution comes into force on January 1st, 2023.
