Belarus to continue co-operation with UAE in high-tech area
The Chairman of the State Committee on Science and Technology of Belarus (SCST), Sergei Shlychkov, has met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United Arab Emirates to the Republic of Belarus, Ibrahim Salim Mohammed Al-Musharrah, to discuss Belarus-UAE interaction in the sphere of high technologies, including export of innovations to new markets – as reported in the SCST’s press service
The two parties discussed a wide range of issues. This includes collaboration between the two states in the field of high technologies, including attraction of investments from the UAE to Belarus and exports of innovative developments to new markets. Moreover, particular attention was paid to the implementation of joint sci-tech and innovative projects, including in the area of ‘green’ technologies.
During the meeting, the Ambassador noted that the UAE Government devotes significant resources to the development and implementation of advanced technologies. He also expressed confidence that Belarus and the UAE can achieve significant results through joint efforts.
