Belarus, Thailand discuss development of trade-economic liaisons
Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and Kingdom of Thailand concurrently Uladizmir Baravikou has met with Director General of the Department of European Affairs at the Foreign Ministry of the Kingdom of Thailand Asi Mamanee – as BelTA was reported by the Belarusian diplomatic mission in Hanoi
The meeting tackled issues of interaction on international platforms. Moreover, they discussed the use of bilateral co-operation tools in the development of the legal framework. The topics of development of trade-economic liaisons were also discussed.
In 2022, Belarus and Thailand celebrated the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations. Last October, the National Academic Bolshoi Opera and Ballet Theatre of Belarus performed on the stage of the Thailand Cultural Centre in Bangkok while a solemn ceremony of planting a tree of friendship was held in Bangkok’s Wachira Benchathat Park on the occasion of the anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Republic of Belarus and the Kingdom of Thailand.
