Belarus simplified the procedure for state registration of drugs of traditional Chinese medicine
On June 1st, the President of Belarus, Aleksandr Lukashenko, signed Decree No. 161 aimed at developing innovative and traditional medicine, implementing projects in the field of pharmaceuticals, manufacturing medical devices and equipment in the China-Belarus Great Stone Industrial Park – as reported by the Belarusian leader’s press service
The document establishes a simplified procedure for the state registration of biologically active food supplements produced and registered in China for circulation on the territory of Belarus. This innovation is aimed at popularisation and availability of traditional Chinese medicine for Belarusian citizens.
The conditions for the provision of medical services on the territory of the Great Stone Industrial Park have been simplified with the use of medicines, medical devices, and treatment methods registered in China and a number of other countries with a developed regulatory system in the field of medicine and pharmaceuticals.
Medical services provided by Park residents using the provisions of the decree are included in the objects of voluntary medical insurance.
