Belarus Segodnya Publishing House journalists awarded Gratitude of House of Representatives' Chairman

A number of deputies, the Defence Ministry leadership and media representatives have been presented with well-deserved awards for their contribution to the country’s socio-economic development, international co-operation, and active participation in the preparation and holding of events of the House of Representatives. The awards ceremony has taken place today after the tenth session of the House of Representatives of the seventh convocation, with Chairman of the House of Representatives Vladimir Andreichenko bestowing the awards upon recipients, including the Belarus Segodnya Publishing House journalists.

The Deputy Editor of the Political Information Department, Svetlana Isaenok, and special correspondent of the Political Information Department of the Belarus Segodnya Publishing House (affiliated with the Administration of the President of the Republic of Belarus), Anastasia Tselyuk, received the Gratitude from the Chairman of the House of Representatives for active participation in the preparation and conduct of events of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of Belarus, many years of conscientious work and proper performance of their official duties.

“Let me once again congratulate you all and wish you strong health, prosperity, and further fruitful activities for the benefit of our Motherland,” underlined Vladimir Andreichenko during the awards ceremony.

Valery Mitskevich, the Deputy Chairman of the House of Representatives, was awarded For Strengthening Parliamentary Co-operation within the CSTO Medal for active participation in the activities of the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly and its bodies, contribution to strengthening the collective security of the CSTO member states.

Belarus’ Defence Minister Viktor Khrenin and member of the Standing Commission on National Security of the House of Representatives Yevgeny Zaitsev were also presented with CSTO Parliamentary Assembly Medal: For Strengthening Parliamentary Co-operation within the CSTO.

Member of the Standing Commission on Legislation of the House of Representatives Aleksei Yegorov, as well as employees of the Belarusian Telegraph Agency (BelTA) were awarded a Certificate of Merit from the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus.

The Chairman of the Standing Commission on National Security of the House of Representatives Oleg Belokonev, Assistant to the Chairman of the House of Representatives Nikolai Buzin, Advisor to the International Co-operation Department of the Secretariat of the House of Representatives Igor Klimenkov and Head of the Organisational Department of the Secretariat of the House of Representatives Sergei Stashkevich were presented with the Certificate of Merit of the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly.

The Gratitude of the Chairman of the House of Representatives also went to the Deputy Chairman of the Standing Commission on Legislation Aleksandr Omelyanuk, member of the Standing Commission on Legislation Vitaly Utkin, representatives of the Belarusian Telegraph Agency, the Zviazda newspaper, the Belarus 1, ONT and STV TV channels, as well as the First National Channel of the Belarusian Radio.
