Belarus’ rescuers trained in China on use of UAVs in extinguishing fires

Specialists from Belarus are being trained in the use of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) in extinguishing fires at the Institute of Fire and Rescue Service of China’s Ministry of Emergency Management, sb.by reports with reference to the Belarusian Emergencies Ministry’s press service

It is noted that as part of the training, Belarusian specialists visited the training base of the Northern Tiantu Aviation Technology Development Co., where they were able to test the control of UAVs on a flight simulator.

“During practical classes at the institute’s training base located in the mountains, they acquired skills in dropping bombs to extinguish forest fires,” the Belarusian Emergencies Ministry provided the details.

According to the press service, during a break in classes, a friendly football match was organised between rescuers from Belarus and institute students of the Chinese Ministry of Emergency Management. The match ended with a score of 2:2, symbolising the victory of friendship.
