Belarus ready to assist Nigeria in implementing its socio-economic development programme

Belarus is ready to assist the Nigerian side in the implementation of its socio-economic development programme, presented by President Bola Tinubu in August 2023 – as noted during the meeting between Belarus’ Foreign Minister Sergei Aleinik and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Federal Republic of Nigeria to the Republic of Belarus concurrently, Abdullahi Ibaikwal Shehu

“During the meeting, the two parties discussed the state of bilateral relations and shared views on intensifying interaction in the political, trade-economic and educational spheres,” noted the Belarusian Foreign Ministry’s press service. It is also reported that special emphasis was placed on the development of co-operation in agriculture.
