Belarus President’s scholarships for 2025 awarded to 49 graduate students

In accordance with the decree, signed by Head of State Aleksandr Lukashenko on January 10th, scholarships of the President of Belarus for 2025 have been awarded to forty-nine graduate students, performing dissertation research in educational institutions and scientific organisations in the field of technical, medical, chemical, economic, pedagogical and other sciences on topical and in-demand topics for the relevant industries, sb.by reports citing the Belarusian leader’s press service

Such scholarships have been awarded by the President annually since 2007 based on the results of an open competition. They are designed to encourage the recruitment and retention of young researchers in science, support their creative initiative, develop national scientific schools, and train researchers of the highest qualification.
