Belarus President’s merch much in demand among Russian youth and top officials in pavilion at Moscow’s VDNKh
The Pervyi [First] store of the President’s merch in the Belarusian pavilion at VDNKh [the All-Russia Exhibition Centre] in Moscow is enjoying high demand, including among young buyers – as noted by Gennady Romanenko, the Director General of the Belarusian Trade Exhibition and Information Marketing Centre
He stated that the store’s assortment targets all consumer groups, enabling the outlet to attract the attention of customers of different ages and with different social status.
“People of different ages are buying, including youngsters. I can’t say that there is one age group here, say 60+. I see that young people are buying. My own wardrobe has been expanded with T-shirts, caps, as well as small phone bags of very high-quality,” Mr. Romanenko said.
He also said that Russian officials – governors, members of the government, employees of integration structures – represent a separate group of buyers of goods from the President’s merch.
“Many Russian officials, when they come here, mostly do not leave without buying something. State Secretary of the Union State Dmitry Mezentsev bought here, and Russian Deputy PM Aleksei Overchuk bought T-shirts for his wife and children when he visited the store. Although these are specific products, they enjoy popularity among Muscovites,” the Director General of the Belarusian Trade and Exhibition and Information Marketing Centre noted.
