Belarus’ PM: Lukashenko always keeps Government active
The Belarusian economy feels quite confident – as stated by Prime Minister Roman Golovchenko in his talk with the Belarus 1 TV channel
The Head of Government noted that almost all the main indicators are being over-fulfilled, “The main thing is not to rest on our laurels, but to see trends. The task is to not to allow drops by the end of the year. The half-year is coming to an end, and I’m convinced that we will finish it well. The most important now is to launch the harvesting campaign, reap and save the entire harvest while the weather favours us. Well, we should also prevent decrease in all other areas. Then the results of the year, I suppose, will be quite successful.”
When asked who he is — an optimist or a pessimist, Mr. Golovchenko replied “Of course, we must look at everything from the critical point of view and proceed from the worst possible options in planning. In order not to be complacent, I always take a critical approach when assessing all the results. But the President does it much tougher, so he always keeps the Cabinet active.”
