Belarus’ petrochemical enterprises showcasing their goods at expo in Istanbul
From June 1st-3rd, Belarusian enterprises of the petrochemical industry are taking part in Made in Belarus exposition at the International Istanbul Yarn Fair, during which company representatives negotiate with Turkish partners and contractors, as well as representatives of companies from other states.
“The exhibition brought together delegates from 650 companies from around the world, including China, India, Uzbekistan, Germany, Kazakhstan, Pakistan, South Korea and others,” noted the press service of Belinterexpo, which organised the Belarusian exposition. “Participants of Made in Belarus exposition showcase a wide range of products manufactured using the best world technologies, including various types of fibres, threads and materials used in the textile, knitwear and clothing industries.”
For example, Naftan JSC demonstrates acrylic fibres used in the production of yarn and faux fur while Polotsk-Steklovolokno JSC presents glass fibre and products based on it.
The Belarusian chemical company Mogilevkhimvolokno offers polyester fibres and threads that are used in the production of yarn, fillers and artificial fur, while also presenting polyester fabrics – indispensable in the production of roofing materials and carpets.
Meanwhile, Plant Khimvolokno – a branch of Grodno Azot JSC – shows cord fabrics for reinforcing pneumatic tyres, polyamide threads for the production of ropes and fishing tackle, and polyamide-6 (PA-6). Moreover, the enterprise’s stand also includes polymer composite materials that are used in the automotive, aviation, and oil industries.
