Belarus, North Korea discuss intensification of liaisons in education, healthcare and agriculture

Belarus’ Foreign Minister Maksim Ryzhenkov has been received today by North Korean Prime Minister Kim Tok Hun, sb.by reports with reference to the Belarusian Foreign Ministry’s press service

The parties summed up the results of the negotiations of the Belarusian delegation in Pyongyang, mentioning the need to intensify bilateral co-operation in education, healthcare and agriculture.

Co-operation in the international arena was discussed and a high level of understanding between the countries on the main issues of the global agenda was noted.

Kim Tok Hun conveyed his warmest wishes to Belarus’ Prime Minister Roman Golovchenko.

During the work in Pyongyang, the Belarusian delegation laid a wreath at the Liberation Monument and held talks at the Kim Il Sung University and the Pyongyang Pedagogical Institute. With the participation of Belarus’ First Deputy Education Minister Aleksandr Bakhanovich, agreements were reached on the development of inter-university liaisons.

Maksim Ryzhenkov also visited a range of social facilities, getting acquainted with the functioning of the social infrastructure of the city of Pyongyang.
