Belarus’ NAS discussing strategy for unmanned vehicle development
The National Academy of Sciences (NAS) of Belarus has hosted an introductory meeting of the interim interdepartmental working group on the development of a strategy for the development of unmanned vehicles and a comprehensive programme for the development of unmanned vehicles in our country, sb.by reports with reference to the NAS press service
The meeting was also attended by representatives of state agencies, NAS scientific organisations, as well as manufacturers and users of unmanned vehicles.
“The established working group will have to work out in detail the issues of organising and scaling the production of unmanned aerial and ground vehicles and components for it, analyse existing research and development projects, identify areas for improving the regulatory framework, update curricula for training specialists in the field of design, construction and management of unmanned vehicles,” the NAS reported.
