Belarus, Mongolia keen to intensify inter-parliamentary dialogue
On the sidelines of the UN Summit of the Future in New York, Deputy Chairman of the Council of the Republic Sergei Khomenko and Chairman of the Standing Commission on International Affairs and National Security of the Council of the Republic Sergei Aleinik have met with President of Mongolia Ukhnaagiin Khurelsukh and Foreign Minister Batmunkh Battsetseg, sb.by reports with reference to the press service of the upper house of Parliament
During the meeting, the parties confirmed their commitment to the implementation of the agreements reached during the state visit of Belarus’ President Aleksandr Lukashenko to Mongolia in June this year, and also supported the intensification of inter-parliamentary dialogue.
Sergei Khomenko and Sergei Aleinik have also met with President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon as part of the global forum.
