Belarus major exporter to third countries among EAEU states
Belarus increased its export supplies to third countries more than any other country of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) – as stated by the official representative of the Eurasian Economic Commission, Iya Malkina, during a briefing
“According to the data for 11 months of 2021, compared to the same period in 2020, export deliveries of goods to countries outside the EAEU increased most of all from Belarus (by more than 50 percent) and Russia (by more than 45 percent),” she said.
Iya Malkina also added that the main buyers of goods exported from the EAEU were the countries of the European Union and APEC.
“The CIS states account for almost 6 percent of exports. Meanwhile, China and Germany take the lead among the countries in terms of imports to the EAEU market,” she summed up.
