Belarus, Iran interested in strengthening military contacts

A meeting was held in New Delhi between Belarus’ Defence Minister, Lieutenant General Viktor Khrenin, and the Minister of Defence and Armed Forces Logistics of Iran, Brigadier General Mohammad Reza Ashtiani, Belarus’ Defence Ministry reports in its Telegram channel

The parties noted that, in the current difficult conditions of turbulence, it is the consolidation of joint efforts, deepening co-operation and mutual support that will contribute to the maintenance and strengthening of peace and security.

In addition, the defence ministers of Belarus and Iran noted a significant potential and prospects for the development of practical co-operation, also expressing interest in further strengthening of military contacts.
