Belarus’ Information Minister on Union State media holding
The working group for the creation of the Union State media holding company is currently completing work on the statutory documents, Belarus’ Information Minister Vladimir Pertsov told reporters
The Minister recalled that the decision to establish a media company of the Union State was made by the heads of state during the Supreme State Council session, “It will include one TV channel, several print media and an editorial office that will adapt content for digital media and social networks. At the moment, the working group is completing work on the preparation of statutory documents: the charter and an interstate agreement that will determine the operating conditions of this media company both in Belarus and in Russia. Since this media holding company is unique, none of the national legislations stipulate such a form. Work is currently underway, and I think that by the end of the year we will see the outlines and registration of a basic autonomous non-profit organisation in Russia, personnel composition and projects that it will implement.”
