Belarus’ Industry Ministry to bring exports to far arc countries to 30% by 2030
The share of Belarusian exports to the countries of the far arc may grow to 30 percent by 2030 – as stated by Industry Minister Aleksandr Yefimov during today’s meeting on the development of the Belarusian industry, held by President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko
According to the official, in the coming years, the ministry’s work will be aimed at maintaining its share in the Russian market, as well as increasing supplies to other regions.
“By 2030, we plan to organise up to 30 percent of all exports to the countries of the far arc. There are key countries in Central and South America: Venezuela, Cuba, Argentina, Nicaragua, Colombia, and Brazil. Such countries on the African continent include Egypt, Nigeria, Togo, Mozambique, Equatorial Guinea, Kenya, and Zimbabwe. In Asia these are Pakistan, India, Vietnam, Mongolia, Iran, Turkiye, the UAE and China.
Aleksandr Yefimov said that over five months of 2024 there is a positive dynamics of exports to the countries of the far arc, with the growth rate standing at 134.4 percent.
