Belarus-Indonesia agreement on mutual recognition of Halal certificates signed in Jakarta
The Belarusian Halal Centre for Standardisation and Certification (BelHalal LLC) and the Halal Product Assurance Agency (BPJPH) of the Indonesian Ministry of Religious Affairs have signed an agreement on mutual recognition of Halal certificates in Jakarta (Indonesia), with the assistance of the Belarusian embassy in Indonesia, sb.by reports with reference to the Belarusian Foreign Ministry’s press service
The signing ceremony was attended by Ambassador of Belarus to Indonesia Roman Romanovsky.
In line with the signed agreement, Halal certificates issued by BelHalal LLC for the entire range of food group products (dairy, meat, fish products, confectionery, etc.) will be recognised in Indonesia in the next four years.
At the request of Belarusian manufacturers of other categories of goods (cosmetics, detergents, etc.), it is possible to expand the list of products that are allowed on the Indonesian market accompanied by certificates issued by BelHalal LLC.
